— A Note

Building collections,
not garments.

I’m a self taught designer focused on apparel, with 5 years of experience building products and running an apparel business end to end. My work starts with material, construction, and world building so that identity is built into the garment itself.

At FlyQuest, I transformed apparel from logo slap merch into a team known as “the team with good jerseys.” I developed seasonal capsules, technical stage kits, and partner collaborations that made the organization feel more ownable, more fashion forward, and more legible beyond game day.

System

FlyQuest × Von Dutch · 2025
Apparel system · campaign-ready product
Jersey-led collection
Role
  • Led apparel direction across jersey, fleece, bottoms, tee, and accessories
  • Built the full system from the jersey out
  • Designed the Von Dutch collaboration myself
  • Directed an external designer for the snake crest, then integrated it across the capsule
Concept
Worlds 2025 was built from rattlesnake iconography, North American identity, and Year of the Snake. Full Scale was the idea. FlyQuest showing up sharper, more defined, and more confident.
Worlds Context
League of Legends Worlds is the biggest esports event in the world. Global stage, millions watching. We went in as the #1 team from North America, coming off multiple wins. All eyes were on us. As a gamer growing up, seeing it on the biggest stage in gaming was a full circle moment for me.
System
  • Custom jet black jacquard with the snake pattern built in
  • Shared trim, piping, and silhouette across every piece
  • Snake crest and co-brand language carried from jersey to full capsule

Solarpunk

12-piece FlyQuest collection
Role
Apparel Designer — collection concept, product architecture, material applications, graphic placement, trim system, and brand extension across apparel and accessories.

System
  • 12-piece capsule: 7 apparel pieces plus 5 accessories
  • Shared palette, custom marks, hangtags, labels, and accessory language
  • Material effects used as storytelling, not decoration
Construction
  • SOLARPUNK Jacket: polyester shell, sherpa knit lining, reflective piping, custom hood
  • UV Tees: color-changing ink shifting from white indoors to green in sunlight
  • Fleece, knitwear, jewelry, keychains, cap, beanie, and keycaps extended the world
Impact
  • Moved FlyQuest beyond jerseys into a complete lifestyle capsule
  • Translated the brand's nature-tech identity into product, trim, and material behavior

Solaris

FlyQuest kit system · custom jacquard
Role
Lead Apparel Designer — kit concept, jacquard direction, silhouette, construction details, and alignment between stage performance, content, and fan wear.

  • Pine green main body with black contrast paneling
  • Oversized fit built for both stage presence and streetwear styling
Construction
  • Structured poly jacquard body with open mesh side panels

Project 04 · FlyQuest Capsule · League Is Dead

League
Is Dead

Campaign capsule · statement turned into product world
Role
Apparel and campaign direction across concept, product language, graphic system, knitwear, headwear, trims, and launch storytelling.
Concept
A community phrase turned into a brand stance. The work reframed "League is dead" as a reintroduction: FlyQuest was not mourning the game, but building what comes next.
System
  • Reaper knit polo, graphic tee, trucker cap, woven labels, patches, and printed launch materials
  • Gothic wordmark, bone-Q crest, thorn pattern, and black/red/cream palette
  • Product and campaign assets built to extend the Von Dutch partnership beyond a single jersey moment
Impact
  • Turned a fan narrative into a product world with a clear point of view
  • Helped position FlyQuest as a cultural participant, not just an esports team with merch
  • Expanded the apparel system from stage kit into campaign, retail, and lifestyle storytelling

Construction
  • Custom jacquard knit body with tonal thorn pattern
  • Polo silhouette with rib collar, placket, and clean oversized fit
  • Branded front graphic, bone-Q chest mark, and custom woven neck label
Turnaround
I had only four months to concept, develop, and launch the project from first direction through final product.
Impact
  • Became the best-selling FlyQuest item of all time
  • Featured on Complex as part of the collection coverage
  • Proved FlyQuest could deliver collectible, fashion-forward knitwear on a compressed timeline

Process

League Is Dead · 2025
Vector to sample to final
4-month development window
Method
I design apparel systems in Illustrator using vector flats, placement logic, trim callouts, and construction notes before moving into sampling.
Review
This board shows the key development jump: Sample 1 versus the final approved Reaper Knit after refining proportion, pattern scale, knit read, and front branding balance.
Outcome
  • Compressed concept-to-launch timeline across product, trim, and campaign
  • Final garment became the hero piece of the League Is Dead capsule
  • Process moved from vector system to physical product without losing the original visual intent
